Show your Heads Up RC Set Up
#1

I'm starting this thread to share your different planes and set ups using gear from Heads Up RC. I have several but I'll start with my most recent.
I'm putting a 2410-9 on a Hobby Lobby Yak. I changed out to a stick mount on the Yak because that's just how I roll
. 18amp esc with a 3S 1000mah lipo. Just put it on this morning so I haven't had a chance to fly it yet.

Here's how I like to set up my combat planes with a 2408-21. It's a tough mount. Here's a step by step of how I do it.

Bought one of these to try on a scratchbuilt F-22 I'm working on. I had to use my Dremel tool with a sanding drum to take a little off the flange to get it to sit down in the GWS mount correctly. Then I made a plastic disk from a bowl to attach the flange to the mount. I also used a cut off wheel to shorten the shaft so the prop adapter sits closer to the bell.

P-40F is all www.headsuprc.com outfitted with exception of RX (removed from my SE-5a). Motor is TP 2409-12T, ESC is 32 Amp, and battery is 1650 mAh 20C LiPo. Haven't maidened yet, but good weather is on the way.
I can't tell where I purchased the four 9 gram servos from as I have been sworn to secrecy by the originator of this thread.

This is what Jeff recommended for the SC I'm building.
2409-18T motor
20A ESC
GWS 1060 prop
SG90 servos
11.1v 1650 20C Lipo battery
He also included the following pic's for a motor mount idea.
OH,, And did I mention VERY Fast $2.00 shipping.
How can you beat service like that?

Yes I'm looking around here

Checking out all of the "Jeff Equipped" planes

Wondering if I have enough space on here to show all my Heads Up RC equipped planes. I really need to put them in my Gallery Space but...
Standing By,
