Hoping to get out myself this weekend for some AP flights. looking forward to some more pics nice looking town is this the town center? Are you using your FPV plane for the picture taking?

I renovated my old AP plane with new servos, new motor, new ESC, and prettied it up a bit so it looks more organized with no wires hanging. This was its second flight, the first was with no camera. I'll post pics later

Beautiful picture ,I love fall as well. Sadly I don´t see colored leaf´s here in naples florida, but we have a plenty of sunshine and beautiful beach . But my AP kite must be left at home
. It must be great fly over the beach.....

Taken a couple weeks ago with my scratch built Fokker DR1, sad to say it is in need of repair due to a minor crash in too much wind a couple days ago....
Sorry for the poor quality, but they were snapped off of a video using Nero Vision, never know what your going to get then for clarity.

Dave those are some nice pic's What is ironic is my town has the train running through it and it runs for a short distant with the French river. Some of your pictures could be taken up here in the Berkshires small clumps of house's at the base of the hills.
Up here I don't think we are going to have a colorful Fall we had a drought this summer and the trees went into a protective mode. They loose there leaves early and they don't get the bright colors that are normal. My maple tree out front turned a gross yellow with brown spots first time I ever saw it like this in 23 years we have lived here. I went up today, and Sun. I didn't see any of the color changes that I was hoping for try again next weekend.
Thanks for sharing these, and by the way what are you using for a camera?

I might go get some more fall shots today, once the wind dies down. The above pics were taken with an older 5 mp Pentax Optio s5z. Today I have a Cannon sd780is 12 mp. I think I can disable the IS......we will see how they turn out. Colors on the trees here look great still.

JUNK. IS can not be turned off and every image will be blury no matter how still or calm your plane is.

Dave nice job again! Hard to tell the difference between the 2 cameras, or did you use the same one?
I tried today for a AP flight one way to gusty I was glad to get the plane down in one piece only got 2 pics that are worth saving out of a 6 min. video. Wind lays low for a while then gets crazy with gusts from different directions.
Nice work Dave keep them coming.

Tell you what Dave that old camera takes some great shots. I was looking on ebay for one.
That solution I have can handle the wgt. of the zi6 and a light camera. One facing forward and one to the side. Well the wind is dying down I am going to try once more. I won't have another opportunity till next week end, as soon as I pull out of the driveway the wind will kick up again.

Dave I got out to a different spot set up the plane and realized I left the Kodak at home. Lucky it is a short ride came home and got it went to a spot closer to home and got a flight in. One problem that first flight damaged the prop when I landed need I say more. I never noticed that the prop struck the pavement not bad, but enough to cause a vibration. I will post up a few pics that I was able to salvage in my thread.
Tell ya what Dave it was just one of those days that Murphy comes to visit,
and all you can do is
about it.
