I have two...
The F/A-18 and the Jas Gripen.
I like the F/A-18 better, but the Gripen hangs awesome high alpha.
Heres another reason why I love the Starmax planes:

I've flown the F-15 before, not too bad. But i don't personally own any. I guess that since I'm so close to EJF it's hard to buy from anywhere else.
But I wouldn't mind getting my hands on an F-4 Phantom.

I definitely agree Alpea42. I have had great luck w/ all of the HL products I've gotten.
The Rafale was an awesome plane that deserved a better pilot. I have the JAS Gripen that I'm finishing up now, and I am seriously thinking about getting a desert F-15 now that they're on sale again.

I love every bird I ever bought from HL. However, I did have a lemon! When they first came out with the F-18 Hornet (their first version) I bought it. It was so underpowered it wasn't funny. Could of had a bad battery or something, don't know. It was a RTF plane, battery included.
One of the servos leads came loose from the Rx in flight...flight only lasted about 40-50 seconds. Lost control, lost orientation and down she went. They sent me a new airframe for free! Excellent customer service!
Other than that, I've never been disappointed.

Yep ,,, Except the 6 in my club were all bought as airframe only. WE have one for my youngest son that will be powered with the power system that comes with the ARF but it hasn't been finished yet. So far we've powered em with a Hoffman mity mite , and E-Flight 480 4000Kv EDF motors. It's a smooth and stable great flyin jet.

I love my H/L F-18. I started out with one of the early release models and it had nothing but trouble. Burned motor, burned ESC , Exploding fans. All replaced by H/L at no cost. After the ESC failure they replaced the entire model and I haven't had a problem since.

Maidened that Mig this weekend and got a total of 6 flights on it . It's a solid flyer as a pusher even dead stick landed it on it's last flight today. It floated right in to a perfect touch down. Very happy with it.

Hey Al, want to adopt a 24 year old from Canada? Your kids get some sweet planes!
I haven't bought much from HL, mostly because I can't afford much from there, but it sounds like you get what you pay for. I usually resort to scratch or kit builds to cut costs.
I'd love to have an F-16, or a Gripen, or a Rafale. Maybe after a few more paychecks...

How do the included batteries work out for you guys?
I just saw this on the Mig15 ad. I like the plane:
The battery shipped with this product is mislabeled. Although it is labeled as 15C, it is a 20C pack as indicated on the box. New shipments are being labeled correctly, but if you have already purchased the plane, please be assured that the battery is 20C. We apologize for the miscommunication and thank you for your understanding.
Well that solves the problem. Nothing a new label can't fix. Heck, why not go for 25C.

Mine worked as advertised, Bill.
I guess I do pamper them somewhat. I never hold WOT for more than 10 seconds on any HK generic batteries, especially the 20C ones!
