That is SO COOL! I call dibbs on it to be the one you give it to when you get tired of it like you did your P-38s. I promise to take care of it.

Actually, you should just save all the time and hassle of assembling it and go ahead and send it to me. Please include all electronics, batteries and hardware too.

Thanks Brad.

P.S. Surely that's not a belly flopper but I don't see enough servos listed for retracts and no gear on it.

Tom, You got it, first dib's when I get weary of it.

Look close at the pic. Those look like retract holes in the wing. Wrong location but who really gives a darn at that price.

I saw those but it only lists it as a 4 channel. I'm sure with your ingenuity, you'll have retracts in it before you send it to me. Please try to beat the Christmas rush.

Well according to tracking it should be on my doorstep tonight, that is if Tom didn't grab it. If I beat Tom to the punch, I'll post pics and such.

OOOooooo, also supposed to be at the door are a pair of electric full auto airsoft pistols and a thousand rounds of ammo. Hmmm, don't tell the AMA, but I have a devious plan for them.

Yeah yeah, I know I have way too much time on my hands, and my mind (what's left) seems to be working overtime on ideas.

Did I mention the smoke system.........for electric powered planes? Already have prototype built. hope fully weather will clear up enough to do some test flights with it. As it is now, wifey has about had it with in house testing, and me.

Me like it. Nice looking construction. Though they did paint the nose.
Oh well I'll just vac form a new one. Soon as I finish up the Corsair, I'll work this one into the que.

Nitro planes say they import from Germany, the box my plane arrived in says made in China.I think it is a China Models product.the instructions have very little info.

Yeah it looks like a standard Chingrish CMP manual. Ain't no way on God's green earth you could build it and have it fly by following the destructions.

Did paruse the manual last night. I kinda like how the motor cowls are held on. Haven't verified it yet but from what I gathered, they screw right to the wing LE. Firewalls have two large holes and a secondary bulkhead fits up against the LE. Screws fit past holes in fire wall and then secure the bulkhead/cowl/firewall to the LE.

If so will be easy enough to adjust thrust angles.

Crap, now you have me thinking about this, going to have to go look over Hobby City's site for motors and such.

Hmmm, maybe C/R motors/props, even though the original didn't have em. Help with flight characteristics.

Tie two motors, one on each side as a independent system, so if a failure occurs, you still have a motor on each side still running. Hopefully would eliminate a really ugly result in event of a partial failure.

Landing retract I think could be reworked, will look to verify, so they retract in a more reasonable way, and not like some fighter plane.

Something is bothering me though. I ran the specs through one of my CG calc programs and something ain't right. Calc says CG should be at 100 mm, not 130 like the manual.

It was late last night, so maybe the error was mine in inputting the data, I'll double check it again later, but if it's right, setting the CG at the factory spec is going to make it really tail heavy.

Glacer Girl;I think you are right about the CG.I to stayed up late checking the fit of the cowls. 3 fit good,1 a little tight.as for the manual looks like it was a after thought.Should Be Fun.!!
