Default Just returned from vacation

So we went to Niagara Falls for our 30th wedding anniversary and had a great time. If you have never been I would highly recommend it. It really is a sight to see. We spent two days there and even with the beauty that it is that was enough. It's one of those bucket list items for me. Once it was seen it was seen. Not much to it after that. We did the Cave of the Winds, Maid of the mist, the whirlpool and all the other must do items while there so that one is out of the way. It was awesome though and we are glad we went. We had a really nice hotel room overlooking the Horseshoe falls on the Canadian side as well.

From there we went to Ottawa, Ontario Canada to visit some flying buddies. That was pretty cool as we see these guys every spring at SEFF and finally got to return the favor by going north to see them. It was a short visit but well worth the drive to visit the Canadian capitol. Saw some pretty cool stuff there and had a great dinner with the guys.

From there we went back down to Syracuse to visit with my daughter and granddaughter. Spent a couple days there as well and had an awesome time. She took us to the Casino resort where she works and showed us all the club venues where she does the lighting for the various shows. The next day we found 2 hobby shops in town and picked up a few things from them. Man I sure do miss having a LHS to buy impulse buy stuff from!

All in all a great vacation. No RC flying on this one but still had a great time.

I told my wife on the way home that I felt like a newlywed again... broke...

Now back to the routine and getting a few planes ready for this weekend.

Bill glad you had a great time. Ironic part is the wife and I are staying on a island in Henderson bay lake Ontario. We are 4 hours further north of where you folks were. It is beautiful site to see the falls and the Canadian side is even nicer.
By the way we hauled our trailer up here to a KOA we are loving it. Coffee in the morning looking out on the lake.

Definitely jealous of the opportunity but not the wallet lol. The wife and I have traveled a large part of the US coast to coast but have not ventured to Niagara Falls. It's on the bucket list for sure.

It's a nice place to visit, take advantage of one of the tours and don't plan on staying more than a couple of days. It is beautiful but once you've seen it you've seen it if you know what I mean. If you like city life you might enjoy staying more than a couple days but otherwise you will be ready to leave.
