Hey sorry I'm late but I've been away for 40 years....uh that is from the hobby...I haven't been in the can.
Just getting started again....visiting W. Greenwich and looking at the closed gate at South county.
Have a Cessna that had its maiden flight done by Steve at W Green. and it's still in one piece. Electric of course. I wasn't feeling well that day and someone had to fly it. I have a P-51 Airfield I'm putting together for later and as of tonight a trainer 400 from Nitro planes on the way. All my gear is 2.4....was my reason for leaving the hobby. Had a nice low winger flying and someone turned on and into the ashpalt it went. I got soured after that. Ok I'm over it. So when is the wind going to die.

Bluzjammer
Welcome to Wattflyer. I know what its like to be away for years and then come back in. Just like everything else though...once you learn how to fall out of the sky, you never forget how.
Good luck in RI, Wickford was a nice place but not much in the way of flying areas...unless you have a seaplane..lol.

Thanks for the welcome guys. Captn I'm trying to get the A5 Icon from Nitro planes but I don't want their 72 mhz radio and they don't want to sell it as an ARF without it. So I'll just wait until it comes with the 2.4 rig. They also have a nice hawk Sky but again with the 72 radio also tried to get them to pull the radio out. Some many planes so little room. Hangin them in the garage now. Think the warden is lookin for a place to hang me.

Just an update guys! Brutus, Vic Pete, and I all belong to the RI Soaring Club, I also belong to South county but that is mostly a gasser club with a long nasty bumpy road to the field. Great guys but the road keeps me away. Brutus joined the 1/4 scale modelers of RI, established club with a new field doing a lot of work to their field. Was in the AMA mag a few issues ago as one of the clubs that received a large ama grant. For a small state their are quite a few clubs and fields. No one living here wants to drive too far for anything....most clubs here have 30-50 members.
