Well this rain has really allowed me to get a few projects done. My 3DHS 41" edge's air frame is done. My FT3D is ready to go with a new 30a. I built a FT Spitfire a few weeks ago and just need to set up my control surfaces.
I bought a 48" stick off of a friend that had seen better days. It had alot of rash and hastily done repairs (I think theres a whole botttle of 2 part epoxy in the nose). I completely stripped the covering and fixed the wing from rough handing and wing tip ground aerobatics. I started to pull the covering of the tail and realized that it was the main support. I ended up completely cutting off the tail and will be rebuiding the stabilizers from scratch. Hopefully a Eflite 15 and 60a will be enough to hoss it around. Feels good to work with balsa again.
I even broke of the T4 and started cleaning it up and doing some maintenance. I ordered a SC10 as a christmas present to myself and will be doing a 17.5T brushless conversion to both after the holidays.

I was always told the military never allowed our birds to make contrails or installed devices for that because of the enemy not being able to spot us yet.... why is this C-17 globemaster doing something weird at 4:20....

Eflite UMS Pitts S-1 is so cool, I flew it last week in Indiana , it is nice doing tight moves with no stall effects .... low and inverted great!
I am bringing something out tomorrow I think, low winds!!!

[QUOTE=02TAC;964898]Anyone else get any RC stuff for Christmas? I got a Sport Cub S.
Cool! The only RC thing I got for Christmas is the Blade 200 QX, which I purchased with a Black Friday deal through A-Main Hobbies.

I had a great time with the boats today. The maiden of the Small Bolt went great. Then I went over to the school and things didn't go so well. I smacked up my 450Pro due to some strange glitch. The heli never got airborne. It tipped over on spool up and self destructed.
I am not deterred. I will be back at it again tomorrow morning in the same order: boats then aircraft.

I took a closer look at the heli when I got home. The damage isn't that bad, new blades and feathering shaft and main shaft and I'll be back in business. I don't think the tail took any damage. I'll check it again later.
