Today's session was good. I Maidened the Beaver off of the grass. Flew very well. Only problem was I landed kinda hard. No damage. The Lipo puffed after a four minute cruising flight.

Nice plane! I'll bet she will look great over the water. I wanted to come out, but I promised the wifey a lunch date at Olive Garden.

It is a really nice flyer considering its size. There was about a 10mph wind and it handled it nicely. I just threw the lipo in and launched it. No gyro or any plans to add one.

I might be able to sneak in a few flights. What time do expect to be out there?

Did you fly your new FPV plane? Is your racer ready for action? I think I finally got my PID's right for my 180. I'm ready to get back to the action.

That's cool. Last time I flew the 180 it was flying real good, like a video game I was able to complete a flight on a acro mode and land under horizon. My fpv sky surfer is about 30% complete. No where near setup. Last weekend most of the physical hacking to hide the wires is complete. It will have a access door and osd panel attachment for adjustment. I only needed ch5/aux1 put on a dial to allow 3 modes. Rate-PA or stabilize-RTH Learning a lot of setup stuff with Jeff has made things a breeze

Eventually I will get to mine(Sky Hunter). I have been distracted by quads and my other hobbies. I picked up some KingKong props from Banggood. I'm hoping to try them out on my 180 this weekend if all goes well.

I do. A couple of months ago I printed a set in dark gray to try out. Right now I have bright orange loaded on my printer. I can do orange, blue, neon yellow or black.

Scored this off Craig's List for $10! A little TLC on the bird, betteries on the FM radio and she test flew nicely. Actually quite fun to fly.

1. http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:526102

2. http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1315699

I will pay for your time and materials.

Hey Barry,

How's the flying lately around here? I will be trying soon after some cool weather moves back..... I do not like having my shirt turn into a wet towel while cleaning my cars on the insides
