Tonights progress along side the first MiG-17 model remains.
All the new pieces are cut out.
The wings , carbon rod, and ventral pan are glued together.
The internal "breathing" parts are dry-fitted as well.

Thanks!

Note to self: When sorting out the CoG of a nose heavy plane avoid steep dives.

The way sailplaners get the CG right is:
45 dive let go of the sticks, if it pulls up quickly it's nose-heavy, if it slowly pulls up it's just about right, if it tucks more steeply it's tail-heavy. That sounds counter intuitive, but if you think about what the stab is doing in each case it's easy to understand.

Hi B ...

I always enjoy your clever way to reducing a structure to simple parts. But never see plans ? or construction drawings ??

Nigel,
I have PDF of the plans i have published at MEDIA_FRE.
The links are published on YOU-TUBE with the maiden flight video and here in these threads.
Not all my plane designs have been published. Only the ones i thought were far enough along in development. I am revisiting the "PROP-INNA-BOX" planes to improve their air-flow and speed.
