What is the size and shape of the battery that will fit in a Parkzone P-47?
I purchased a Parkzone P-47 at a swap meet and all it needed was a battery. I looked up the manual and it said to use a PKZ1029 battery which is currently unavailable. Thinking I might be able to find an equivalent size and shape I noted the dimensions (4.9 x 2.5 x 1). To check for fit I 3D printed a battery simulator and found that it did not fit. It was way too wide to fit the space in the aircraft.
Thanks for your assistance.

Those dimensions are inches ??
PKZ1029
Li-Po 2200mAh 11.1v 25C
Blimey ......... $61
?
Looks like a standard 3S 2200mAh LiPo will do the job ...
TBH - maybe drop back a bit in size to a 1800 - 2000 mAh ... 30C battery ...... plenty of sellers out there ... no need to pay Parkzone / Horizon Hobby prices.
Even Hobby King can do better than that !!
