Build Review Halloween Frankenstein Build Contest

You Wanted it, You Got it

I dunno.... I'd be in for a contest, 100% built from crashed plane parts. Something FUGLY but Flyable! ( NB )

I'd be up for that. A Halloween frankenbuild contest. Sounds like fun. ( WF )

Build something from existing parts only. A true MacGyver effort ( DK )

Rules, There are no Rules Ok, Only Rule is to make it from Existing Old Airplane Crashed Parts.

That Says it all Build something For Halloween, Just Slap something together from old parts laying around, make it fly and Video it, Voting will start on Halloween, Vote anyway you want to, Winner will get Bragging Rghts and a Bag of Candy LOL

ENTRIES

( 1 ) Nitro Blast - the StiCapSU

I did one of those before with the first Guillows FW190 I built 10 some years ago. Used a wing from an AR234 foam bash, that came from a FlyZone plane. It actually flew rud/elev, although it certainly wasn't the best flying model I've ever flown.

Lol! Good one, Bill! This should be a cool contest, but I'm afraid I'm gonna stay out of this one due to the other build and the fact that I don't have any crashed plane parts because I never crash!

LOL

Lets see. A little bit of F4, F5, L39, T-33, Spitfire, Rare Bear, Stinger, 540T, etc. Stir slowly. Wait for boil. This could be butt ugly. I'll take a look and see if I can come up with something.

You should have heard it in flight. With the 3-blade prop and open EDF nacelles, it had a constant howling noise that would really increase in dives and turns.

Looked through my parts bin and pickings are a little slim. One crashed HK skymaster, a crashed mini contender, and a bunch of foam board stuff.
Getting some ideas but hard to incorporate the parts. Should get interesting.

Default My entry!

Ok, here is my entry!
Made from 4 planes:

Hyperion Sukoi
Hyperion Cap 232
GWS Slow Stick
Electrifly U-can-do 3D

I bring to you for your review, the StiCapSU

Wing from Cap 232, Tail from Sukoi, power from U-Can-Do, and fuse from Slow Stick. I made a steerable tail wheel from extra scraps in the junk bin, and this thing is a blast to fly! Very aerobatic! Insane snap rolls.

Flying video as soon as I can get someone to hold the camera.
