...copying Jeff's hard work like that. There was another eBay vendor about 2 years ago that wanted to set me up with a branch store of his but I was to copy Jeff's eBay store. I turned him down and have kept an eye on him but maybe he found someone else to do it or maybe this one is a "slacker". Could just be they're a
??...., maybe I shouldn't go there. That site/store shouldn't last long I would hope.

Thanks to all who informed me about the copy-cat. I reported it to eBay - we'll see how they handle it...
Just as a side note: It was suggested on one of the forums a while back that I had copied my motor/prop data from someone else who posts his test data on the forums. For what it's worth, I do ALL of my own testing. I have a thrust stand, Watts-Up meter, and an optical tachometer - nothing real fancy, but I get the real world data that you and I need for these motors. And I very much enjoy doing it!

Something I've been wanting to ask ya Jeff..
You sell the motor shafts for the 2408-21t's , do you sell the C-clips as well? or can you get some? They're ok the first 4-5 motor swaps, but once the clip starts spreading I like to replace them. Just cant find a replacement.

I really do hope eBay takes action on this, at the very least the auctions they copied from Jeff should be pulled. More than likely though they'll let it calm down and do something similar again. My expectation though is that eBay will slither out of it with their std. apology followed by their weak excuses. Seems they darn sure don't share Jeff's commitment to fast shipping or great customer service after a sale/transaction or whatever you want to call the deals we get from Jeff. More I think about it the more I really would like to Tar & Feather this lazy copy cat. I really want to use some stronger wording but I'll keep it family friendly. Keep your spirits up Jeff, we'll try and keep everyone informed for you and chase off the snakes in the grass.

If Jeff doesn't have those clips I found them at our local Handy Hwd. store that just opened several months ago. I think I pd. like .12 cents. ea for them and then promptly lost the bag of 20 that I bought but I did find them a week later after buying more. My problem is I keep dropping them or they fly off to parts unknown. Believe it or not those little E-clips aren't the smallest ones they carried.

Even better. And yea, I've seen them clips smaller. We've got one of those Team Losi Micro Desert trucks and the wheels are held on with TINY c-clips. Which you have to remove once a day to clean anything out of the axle that builds up. I need replacements for them too...
Thanks SJ

Thanks SJ

It looks like Jeff got Ebay to put a hold on the copycat store. Here is what you see when you click on the link that was published earlier. .

Just put through my 3rd order with Jeff in 2 months.....gonna try those WOW batteries for myself.
Best advise I ever took in dealing with what to buy for my first plane (Slow Stick) was from the threads I was lurking through regarding Jeff's store. Bought a motor combo and a few other bits to complete my build up, great prices and the shipping is amazingly quick for the price. BUT what really sold me on buying from Jeff was a few days after I had bought a balance charger from him and was confused on what plug I needed to get my Apex battery to charge with it ("needs a diff balance plug" says Jeff....uh, OK whats a balance plug??
) he walked me through the steps by email. Must've bothered him half a dozen times that week!
I also had a power supply issue (newbie thing again) that I mistakenly blamed on the Heads up charger I had bought. Jeff told me to pack it all up good and send it to him to test (even sent my battery to him for reassurance that I had done all my wiring correctly). He writes me a few days later to let me know that the charger works fine and that I wired my balance plug correctly AND that he charged my battery and it went to 4.20v on all cells
The phrase "going above and beyond" should be on his web page somewhere!
Thanks to Jasmine, Chellie and Slow John (amoungst the sea of other followers of Jeff) for keeping the light of Heads Up RC buring bright enough for all us blurry eyed newcomers to see :p
And thanks again, Jeff!
