I have a four year old DX6 (I actually have two) in perfect condition, that was rarely used (it's my backup radio) that I'm putting up for sale.

The beauty of these original DSM 24mhz systems is that they use the BR6000 & AR6000 receivers (no range issues) which are still manufactured and readily available new at numerous hobby shops for around $40.

The Tx comes with a NiCad battery, a wall charger and the manual in the original box.

Absolutely NOT. The original DSM technology DX6 requires you to use either an AR6000 or a BR6000 (still both readily available at retail for about $40) receiver.

While new technology radios like the DX7, DX6i and DX5e are compatible with original DSM receivers the inverse is NOT true. The new technology DSM2 receivers used in the bind and fly products require new technology transmitters.
