info Question of availability

I just thought I would add this post for those interested in still purchasing this model. Hobby People apparently still has them if you live in the US and want one for approx. $80. Here are two links:

Edit: these are now dead links.

madtech, I just watched your video for the first time and I really liked the way your P-40 flew. Wow! Nice job.

43MM worked out great on my P-40.

Hadn't flown mine in a while. I took it to the field yesterday and put two flights on her. I had forgotten what a nice flyer she is.

Hey..........better late than never I always say !

Nice to see some activity here at this thread after about 9 months.

Did you use the painted or unpainted version ?

I haven't checked recently, but does UltraFly still make this one ?

It's the painted version (unfortunately), and no, I don't believe it's available online, unless through ebay or forum sites. That's how I acquired this was through the forum classifieds as an unfinished arf kit

You'll love the way she flys. I flew the snot out of mine. It's a very stable and smooth plane. Good luck with the maiden.

I agree. Nice stable flyer. The only problem I have with mine is a bad torque to the left when launching. This is due to the oversize Mast. Air. 3-blade prop and the overpowered motor I used.

Besides my torquey launch, I could not ask for a more smooth, better flyer !

From me too.........Good Luck on the maiden.
