Yea...Im crossing my fingers and taking the plunge hoping that my experience is better than yours Loughead...Statistically it has to be...lol...but we shall see.

From a poll I saw with well over 150 votes total...the Spektrum system has the second highest success rating with Futaba's faast coming in first. 92% to 90%.

Default Flying Weather

Well i got flying weather this mourning and i have flown my new UB 4 times this am. She flys like she is on rails and is great fun doing loops, stalls, rolls, immelmans etc. Also fun just to fly low inside the treeline and make nice landings for practice. Did not get the Illusion up this am for she has motor issues right now to solve.

Now that I have all my planes either in the trash, or on the bench, the weather has been wonderful....

(or so it seems, since I am not obsessing about it)

Yeah, well, it's already stopped. Doubt that did much good other than help with our wonderful humidity.

We got a ton of rain Saturday, Sunday and even this morning was raining til just a little bit ago. Makes me worry now that I finally got my basement finished. But, the sump hasnt even needed to kick on (knock on wood). I guess when my father in law built this place, he landscaped it well.

Hopefully, the forecast for Wednesday looks promising, I can take out the Pitts.......

I think it was one of our mosquitos that went north for the summer.

Grasshoppers and Mosquitos are not related Kev. We stay away from bright lights.

Whew....I was worried there for a bit.

Still hoping for it to catch me a monkey. A flying one, at that.

Had some flying weather this mourning so put the Illusion up first and flew her 2 times with good results.
Then after charging up the Batt. put the Ultimate Bipe up for a couple of flights and also very good results.
A very good mourning of flying. A little wind coming up now.

Excellent flying weather here this mourning. I flew the Illusion twice and crashed it on the second. It was flying real twitchy today. Then i put the Ultimate Bipe up for a couple of nice flights and landings. Then i flew the Christen Eagle twice. She sure looks nice up there in the mourning sun. A good day so far.

Should be a great weekend for flying. It finally cooled off here and is around 60 for a low at night with highs in the upper 80s and sunny all weekend.
