Hot and humid in MN, late September... this can only mean one thing.

Thunderstorms.
A nice breeze is pinning any chance of flying to the ground.

Great flying WX 2 days in a row here in Nebraska!!! Dead calm yesterday so took my foam scratchbuilt Lazy Bee out. Its a real sky crawler, looks almost like a blimp floating by or will do most of the crazy stuff a Bee is supposed to do
Today almost the same but about a 3 mph breeze out of the north. Flew my sorta Sporty scratchbuilt , 15 ouncer with a recycled GWS Pico Cub wing with a KF modified step on the bottom. Its a nice soccer feild flyer also. Very unussual to get 2 days in a row of nice mornings, the bottom will fall out Im sure...........

Happy Flying
Bob

Absolutely beautiful here today. Sunny, 81 degrees, winds from the SW at 4 mph. Just wish I had time to fly.

A little warm: 91, winds out of SW at 5 mph. Good for flying, unfortunately I have to drive home to get my Cub! Then it will be too late.

Default It was so calm this morning!!!

It was so calm in Omaha this morning(CHORUS: How calm was it Bob) that after I got home from flying with the other old Geezers and eating a donut, that I went down and got a little 7 ounce indoor flyer and walked up to the church and flew for another 30 minutes in the parking lot. This hardly never happens out here on the plains. Life is good again!!!!!!

Happy Flying
Bob

Fall has fallen here in MN... temps getting below 40 at night.

Strong chance of a few inches of snowfall up in northern MN and a chance of flurries down by the cities...

Eeewww...yuck! Keep it up there. Sunny and in the 70s here. This evening was perfect for flying but I went to my daughter's volleyball game. This weekend looks good but we're driving to Houston for a wedding.

Flew last Saturday but the temps have been falling since. The last 2 mornings it has been 20 F with a high today of 32-34. Time to dig out the boots, bibs and parka. No since getting frostbite anywhere else than the fingers

Hello folks,
I cannot believe how windy it is here. 12-15 mph winds. Usually the wind comes before the rain but there is none in the forecast. We could really use a good soaking here. If this keeps up Alabama will start to look like Nevada. The Huntsville desert. I should get off my lazy butt and build something..

Well i got flying weather again here. Temp 31 with frost but wind 3mph.
I got out with the Foker D7 first and had a nice flight and landing then after chg. batt. back up with the Ultimate Bipe, then after chg. batt. back up with the Foker again and now chg. batt. again. As you may have gathered i only have one batt. right now.

Well this evening i got the chance to maiden my new Yak 54 so i put her up and she is just great. It turned out better than i expected. Does what ever you ask. The wing is a flat wing with a bottom step(about 40%) and a spruce strip behind it for wing support. Here she is.......

I have 2 flights so far. Shure is fun.
