I have a dozen or two...The oldest is a Kokam that is 4 years old, it is starting to go flat. I have been really happy with the Commonsenserc products. They are reasonable priced and better quality than most. (I have also used TP packs.

update the green lipo in my picture won't hold a charge for more than a few days it is 2 years old and not used to much. and one of my TP . one cell has just gone dead while it was in a stored 11.3V state. i crashed it about 3 months ago and has been used 2 times since and all was fine. so i don't what happened as it has just been in storage. but i do check and top up & balance my lipos every 2 weeks.

I'm guilty of it too, but I recently read somewhere that we should not "top off" our already-charged LiPos...

i mean i keep them at 11.3V but if they drop below that. i will bring them back up to 11.3V. i have tried to top up a lipo but it is a slow process as i only do it a low charge rate so the balancer is taking out almost as much as the charger is putting in.

OK we don't care if you have 1 lipo but we want to know how old it is and what you do with it

3cell 500

4cell 2000

Default Batteries...

I started out with Thunder Power 3s-2200's and Flightpower 3s-2170's which are about a year old and still run strong. I still get 12.6 after a full charge and they hold their voltage. Then again, I don't go crazy with my batteries even on my fast 120mph+ birds. I have about 10 Thunder Power 3s-1320's and except for one slight puffing, they are all still going strong as well. My first step into bigger batteries was a used Impulse 4s-2500 that I bought only because I got a good deal on it. I still prefer Thunder Power and Flightpower. In the past 6 months, I bought 3, 4s-3300 and 3, 5s-3300's and am very happy with them. I did try a Lightning Power 4s-2500 but I had one of the cells swell up pretty bad but I also got a free exchange on it. I just recently purchased used, 2, 5s-4100 NeuEnergy's and I'm going to test them out and see how I like them. They have a 30c rating and I want to test them on my Sundowner 50 and/or Kyosho Kelly and/or Kyosho Fockewulf 50 on a Neu 1912/2Y, Hacker A50-14s, Hacker A50-14L Electric Turbine and see how they hold up. Personally, I'm still a big Thunder Power fan and will probably continue to purchse them unless I find a great deal on batteries that hold up as well.

Original TP blue lable 3s-2100, 3s-1320, and 3s-700 still seem to be working well, although the 2 larger packs aren't quite up to their original C spec, which was not that high to begin with. They would run at 5C or higher originally. Probably more like 3-4 now.

i know that the extreme V2 lipos have a very good C rating but if used to close to there limit the punch soon goes. but if used in less demanding models they will last much longer.

I have 28 Lipos right now.

3- 2500-3S
8- 2100-3S
4- 1500-3S
5- 1250-3S
5- 910-3S
3- 640-3S

The oldest batterys that I have right now are 2-four year old Kokem 1500's and two Impulse 2100's. I use balancers and check capacity often. I replace them as needed. Some of them go four or five years, and some only go a couple of years. It just depends on how hard and how often I use them.

I have 10 Lipos , all of them Aplus
3 x 3S 1350 mAh 20C 9 months
2 x 3S 1800 mAh 25C 9 months
2 x 3S 2200 mAh 25C 9 months
2 x 3S 3300 mAh 22C 18 months
1 X 5S 4500 mAh 22C 6 months

I have had no trouble withthem , the 3300 mAh's that i got first has taken about 100 charges each and I have yet to find any problem with them.

I have abused one of my 1350 mAh lipos in a model once pulling its max rated A for the full flight. It was hot and a bit soft when i removed it from the model and for the next 2 days I treated it as if it was a snake. It was fine once it cooled and I still fly it regularly with it taking a full charge.

i was given a faulty 6cell 11.1V lipo it uses 2 packs of 3. i was going to try and use just one set of cells. yes im tight. so i cut the plastic off the pack and i found out that the MAH is a lot lower than stated. and this is not some cheep pack but a top of the range. if i had paid for this pack i would not be very happy.

that would be a 3s2p pack, and each would be half the stated capacity... and there would be nothing wrong with it...

The only pack I got that I was extreemly dissapointed with... was a commonsense pack, and I've heard the same from several people, the ones around here total garbage... they aren't even comparible to Nimh packs...LOL

I finally had an old longmax pack die on me this weekend... I decided to make it work at peak for a change.... had about 200+ flights on it pulling max C ratings for its whole lifespan... that was a good $20 investment...LOL

well what a summer we had in the UK. my 40 odd lipos had very little use. so i will have to see how they last the winter. i will be keeping a eye on them just in case any drop voltage or something. im still on the look out for a old AMMO box as i keep them indoors.

40 odd? wow
You can always send them over to me for storage through your winter, I will take tender loving care of them , cycling them every now and then to make sure they are happy .
