Cool. You still got to get it to screem as you fly it through the air.

I dropped the monkey...

next time it could be an ear of corn...

you use a picture of corn as your avatar...

ipso facto, dropping corn, dropping dave, monkey destroys dave, per Liquidity's request.

I will attempt to add some -ahem- seriousness back into this thread (if that is even possible). BTW, I always enjoy it when Fred puts up that picture of the "corn-eatin'-guy"; kinda scary looking human!
There's a windsock on the helipad near where I fly. If it is consistently lifting up to horizontal I usually won't fly. If it is flipping up like a moving finger, there is a good chance I won't fly. If it is hanging down and rarely moving, then it's fly time. I browse weatherunderground.com before I go out- it's usually correct. If there's a difference, the wind sock will tell me.

Wind socks are great. I fly full scale and rely on these a lot. The best thing about wind socks is they come in different sizes.

For instance, the sock at my airport indicates 10 knots when it is fully inflated. Larger diameter socks will indicate a greater wind.

Dave, I was just kidding, your useless banter is always welcome here.

EDIT - Yes, FM is my pet. He does not "sit" well.

I understand you would be unfamiliar with the term, but Bryan and I are friends. And as such, one will help out the other, especially when asked.

I used to wonder why you lived way out in the corn... know I think I know why.

Ya, its a French Poodle.

If he had a Pitbull then he prob would have named it 'Dave'
