Just make up or buy a serial connector and use 2x2s = 4s
That would work, but Mystery only makes 2S lipos in low capacity packs, like 900mAh. My A-7 EDF needs more fuel on board to complete its mission

Does anyone have a suggestion for a good 4S 2200mAh lipo? I wish Mystery made 4S batteries, but so far I've only seen them in 2S and 3S.
No . That links point to mystery batteries also

They have just changed the label so it looks black nowodays instead of white before. But the batteries are exactly the same.

Here is an other link and check

Default Gadex: e-gads!

Adding to the discussion of el cheapo Chinese lipos...

I recently purchased a Gadex 4S 2200mAh 25c from an ebay seller that goes by the name of Gadgetworldexports. Not sure if this is their exclusive brand of battery (haven't seen it anywhere else), but for $42 delivered it sounded good. The first one they shipped me was a dud. Voltage was dropping to under 3 volts per cell at barely over 20 amps. I cycled it a few times and it got a little better, but still the discharge rate was nowhere near 25c. So I emailed the seller to complain, and they offered to send a replacement and even reimbursed me for the cost of return shipping. Great customer service!!! Anyway, the replacement arrived last week and I immediately gave it a bench test. It was better than the first, but still not as good as I would expect from a 25c battery. I would say 15c is more accurate. Bottom line: don't waste your money on this battery.

Next up: GE Power 4S 2200mAh 25c. I ordered one today. Angler Hi had mentioned they were good, so my expectations are high

BTW, I wonder what General Electric thinks about the brand name on these batteries? Well copyright laws are notoriously lax in China and Hong Kong

Hi , I have the mystery brand blue series ESC I have experience the following issues

1) Unable to setup in twin configuration(2 ESC to two motors with Y harness to RX throttle port) Whenever , both ESC are connected ESC refuse to arm. Only runs or arm with one ESC and one motor at any time)

2) On single ESC & motor setup. After arming , when TX is switch off or lost of TX signal , motor will run by itself( with the same condition does not happen with the red series mystery brand ESC)

3) ESC runs very hot on a 40amps set up at half throttle settings although ESC is rated 80amps during bench testing. As a result I cannot cruise the aircraft at half power for a long duration. Motor will quit or runs funny in flight.

Note my friend who bought the same blue series also complain the same problem.

Anyone knows of any remedy on the 3 issues?

Cheers

I just bought a Mystery Blue 40A for my 450 size Heli. I cannot get it to arm. I am getting power to the batteries but the ECS will not give me any tones, beeps or music. In addtion, if I try to program through tones, it says to turn radio on put thorottle on high and then plug in battery. This should go into program mode. Nothing. I need help. THis is the final stagin the setup

Have you tried reversing the throttle channel?
Have you tried putting the throttle trim all the way down?

That's all I can think of...

Hi I am not so sure if the 40amps ESC have a built in BEC to begin with. My frirnd red series Mystery 40amps ESC do not have the BEC, as such there will be no supply to the receiver hence it would not arm at all if you just connect the signal cable to the throttle port at the RX. Use a multimeter to check if you have a 5V at the red colored signal wire.

In addition some blue series mytery ESC will not arm if the connection are in twin setup. It simply will not arm when both ESC are connected to the same throttle port.
Hope this info will help.

Cheers
