Flatouts Extra 300 Power System?
#1

Bought My GP Flatouts Extra 300 This Week. First Electric Plane. Bought a Eflite Park 370 4100Kv inrunner Brushless motor, thinking i would just replace the stock motor with this one,
have the eflite 20amp brusless esc. But Have seen Outrunners mainly suggested. Which one is best? should i go with a recommended Rimfire? if so which Kv Rating would be best? HELP!

The Rimfire Motor recommended for the Flatouts is the 22M-1000.
It is an OK little motor. I have one on my Hobby Lobby Yak 55 and my Son in Law also has one on a flat foamy. At $39.99, the Rimfire is a little pricy in my opinion. http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXJTU6&P=M
I suggest you contact Jeff at Heads Up RC www.headsuprc.com
He will fix you up with a brushless motor that is just as good as the Rimfire for about half the price that the Rimfire sells for. He sells good products at good prices and has excellent customer service.
