MD-80 Micro Spy Camera "LED Mode Light Mod"
I love this little camera but its LED lights are very hard to see when out in the sun. In some case it has cause me to miss recording a really good flight. So here is a little modification you can do to make seeing the really bright hidden LED mode lights easier to see. Enjoy

Hey James great tip I have one of those, and the gum pack version. You are so right about it being a pain to see the lights when setting it up at the field.
Looks like a a little mod on mine should make more user friendly instead of hiding my head in the truck cupping my hands to see if it is set right.

That is absolutley brilliant!!!!! Gona do it myself, countless times ive found myself with my tshirt over my head with the camera underneath trying to make out if the lights are on or not. 1. its really annoying, and 2. i look blooming stupid. :p

Now its boom I'm filming, you will be amazed how the sunlight does not effect the viewing of the lights anymore.
