I can vouch that the Zippy 20C 2S 1000mah LiPo packs fit in the Rhytm, although it's a tight squeeze because of the power hookup coming up at the wrong angle that I needed (would be better if it came straight out of either of the shorter sides, instead of diagonally out of a corner).

Went with a 900 2S pack from Tower. It's narrow enough to fit and I think has a year warranty. I didn't want to wait for the Hobby City packs although I will probably order the 1300 pack from them if this thing turns out to be a good flyer. I am probably a week or so away from a test flight.

First flight today with about a 5mph breeze down the runway. I did use a 900 3s pack and had to place it about as far foreward as I could. I had it dialed down for sport flying. All I can say is that this is a real winner. Loops and rolls were even and uneventfull. The plane is really docile and very responsive even in the sport flyer mode. This thing does fly like a 100 dollar model for about one fourth the cost. Glad I have more than one, just in case.

I have k/e it but not as low as 10 feet. I have it dialed down from radical 3d to spirited sport flying. This is probably the best bipe I have had in 30 years of flying. Have had a few hard landings and had to make some repairs but nothing serious. Am flying with a 2 and 3 cell lipo and the airplane likes the 3 cell better. This really is about as good a bang for the buck airplane I have ever had. My first foamie and I am hooked. Do a Google search for TECHone and you can see where this thing originated from.

Yea I will try that. This is the first airplane I have had that I could do rolling circles with. If there is no wind the 2 cell will fly it but add any wind of more than 5 and the bipe needs the 3 cell pack in my opinion. I started out looking for a Tensor or Byp bipe but I think this beats both.

well for some stupid reason I decided to fly her in my neighborhood. Bad bad bad idea. She found the first tree and settled in for a fight. I had to climb my new neighbors tree and literally shake it out of the branches. Tore it pretty bad. Not even worth trying to fix it.
I miss her already. This was an awesome foam bipe.

Oh, man, I hate to hear that! I have one built that I have to put a receiver in and maiden.
I also made a mod to the landing gear. You know how on a hard landing the landing gear will rip the through the foam? Well, I used bigger plastic washers...I got them from the containers of Excel chewing gum...the plastic snap on lid is about 2" in diameter. I'll let you know how that works...hopefully I'll get the opportunity to actually land it!
Also, I think the other side of the gum might make a good cowling, too.
