Ok, enough! Boomer, I don't often invoke my powers as staff here at WF but if you post one more entry like that (that being the sort of thing that will drain my wallet...) I'm gonna ban ya!
<ok, I'm just kidding. Only a little though!

OK Here is where I am on the Bipe. Am "Tool Blocked" until I receive the motor, esc and RX. It was mailed Priority last Monday and 3 days later was "Processed" in Fort Worth,TX so hopefully it will arrive tomorrow. (7 days) So much for 2 to 3 days!
Good old USPS! :censored:

OK Bipe is done. AUW is 39.8oz. Motor produces 295W @ 27A swinging a APC 10 X 4.7 SF Prop on a 2250 3S 25C Lipo. This gives me 118.47W/lb and anything over 100 gives vertical so looks great! The 52 oz of thrust means vertical will be fast at WOT. Wing loading is only 5.66oz/sq ft. so it's a floater. Want to lift a small child? This should do it!
As to maiden we have 3 inches of snow on the ground from last night and they say 3 more big storms are on the way by the week end

Hey Mike,
You are gonna have to look sooner or later. Just get out the old credit card and go for it!
Dave's goodies sure make it easy. I did reinforce the top wing with a carbon rod at the CG wing tip to wing tip and carbon rod in the center rib spanwise.

Well got to make a Snoopy and Machine gun for the low wing to go with the foam bombs I have for under the wing. Have a happy Xmas all. It's a special time of year for Jackie and I as the 28th is our 64th Wedding Anniversary.

Progress on the Low Wing Slow Stick. If you build one be sure and remember the short wing mount goes on the FRONT as it won't fly very well with negative wing incidence. :p I have included close ups of some of the goodies. I love the control horns! In fact I love all the goodies! Comments as always welcome.

OK here's where we are as of Xmas Eve. Tool Blocked until USPS gets off their duff and delivers my 295W motor, ESC and RX. Notice Snoopy went over to the dark side! He figured if he couldn't beat the Red Baron he'd join him!
Will adjust Lipo position, Snoopy & Gun after everything is installed.

Low Wing Slow Stik. AUW is 32oz. Motor develops 295W @27A with 10 X 4.7 APC SF Prop on 2250 3S 25C lipo. This gives me an insane 147.5 W/lb and 52oz of thrust!
Scrapped funky Machine gun and added 6 wing guns along with the 2 bombs.

Here is Dave's laser Cut Camera Mount. Camera can be mounted with Velcro, Velcro Straps or Rubber bands or a combination of all 3. The mount can be tilted as shown and there is enough friction in the adjustment bolt setup that the mount can still be adjusted but will hold the position set without any more adjustment of bolt tightness. The great feature of the mount is once the rubber bands are removed the mounting tabs can be separated and camera and mount platform easily removed. See Pics.

Will do my partner in slime!
Unforch today has been eaten up by other semi-important tasks so no hacking on the Slow Stick. I am hoping tomorrow will present some unspoken for time as it's back to work on Monday for me.
If it's not raining I am going flying. It's in the 60's here today and tomorrow.

Fly early; NWS forecasts rain after 1pm for your area buddy. I will be at work; fly some for me too.

Looks like I may be able to maiden the Bipe and Low Wing the next few days as the Monsoons are moving out for now. Been setting the FlyCamOne 2 up on the Bipe for an unobstructed view. I am working the lens position and shutter from the TX so I can set the lens from straight ahead to straight down and anywhere in between and start and stop the video and snap pics.!
Here is a short Vid of the lens control.

I screwed up the title as it's a FlyCam NOT a SkyCam. Regressed to the name of an old Sky King Serial on radio from my misspent youth in a senior moment.
It was right up there with my hero "Jack Armstrong the all American boy"! Secret Decoder Ring and all!
