Well, finally got my Snoot built, balanced, and flew it yeserday with a camera for the first time. Did video with it and just had to show off just a little of it.


Now I'm ready for some of the video contests.

Looks like you got a nice set up there. What is the AUW, seems to glide well.

Try putting a little bandaid over the microphone on the camera, it will usually cut the wind noise but still allow other sound.

A polarizing filter will take the sun streak out of the video, I have the same issue and have yet to do it. Get a pair of sunglasses (make sure they have polarising coating on them - many cheaper ones don’t) and put them across the front of your camera’s lens.

Don't know what the all up weight is. Guess I should weigh it after the glue dries..... Yes, not a perfect landing this afternoon .

Never thought of covering up the mike to get rid of some of that noise. Going to have to try that. Have another version with a tune from Alan Jackson worked into it but with the Napster lawsuit and all I just play it on my puter.

Tried to edit out the sunshine best I could but alas, some of the low passes still had it in them

Too bad the battery on the camera died on me this afternoon. Had a pass you would have really enjoyed...................Had to take a step back. Dang thing was crabbing really bad........and fast!
