Default Warplane PC Games ?

I am not sure if this is the right forum for this question but here goes.

I have a few small rc plane projects to get me through the winter ahead and I have the Phoenix sim but got thinking it would be cool if the was a pc warplane game available to purchase. What would be even better would be in it allowed the use of my Spektrum DX8. Does anyone know if such a game exists ? Or can you recommend one that works from a keyboard and is not to difficult to play ?

There are several good games available on the PC, but I know of none that work with the DX8, and none that I would recommend using the keyboard to control.

To the best of my knowledge, PC and RC transmitter compatible controller games do not exist.........nearly all PC games require prioritized controller formats. There are quite a few that offer their own "joy stick" type of controller.

If your looking for a pretty good "game box" type combat plane game, Xbox 360's Birds of Steel is pretty good and you can set up the Xbox controller to replicate an RC controller Mode 2 environment.

RealFlight 7.5 has an online combat option. I think that's about as close as you're going to get.

I don't think this Sim has a warplane combat scenario, but I have an adaptor like this that allows me to plug my JR 8103 or my JR9303 transmitters into my PC. The ting plugs into the trainer socket and then into the PC.

I used it on the FMS simulator, but I have not tried it on Real Flight.
I haven't used it since I bought Real Flight.

It should be compatible with any transmitter, but maybe not with a certain flight sim.
However it does come with a basic flight sim.

There are literally 100's of aircraft you can download for FMS (Flying Model Simulator)

As Paul mentioned.........RealFlight's options seem like a good choice........:

And you don't need to abuse your existing TX.....lol
