Default HXT 900 servo horn screw size?

I've done some searching and I've seen numbers from 2.0 mm up to about 2.5/2.6mm.
Also #2 sheet metal screw (short)

If anybody has replaced these what size have you used?

Thanks
Don.

Don, all the ones I have are a sheet metal screw style. And honestly I've never checked the size. If I'm missing one, I usually just paw through my collection of servo screws and misc screws I've collected with my ARF's, to find one that fits.

But anyhow, what I've found is they are 2 x 6 mm.
You can get a 12 pack here for $1.00.

I have used these:
http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...0pcs_set_.html
for the HXT-900

and These:
http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...0pcs_set_.html
for the HXT-500

And these:
http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...0_Pack_b_.html
are great replacement "set", "grub" screw replacement for wheel collars and some of the electric retract units as well as the round firewall motor mounts for the bell motors.

Chellie is correct about the CD or DVD drive units too. The "rails" that the trays in those units slide in and out on are - 3mm - but hardened steel. Make great motor shaft replacements - once. The reason I say once is that the next mishap AFTER you put one of these in will cause case damage or bearing damage too as the shaft will probably NOT bend on impact. It is hard!! But for certain applications (combat planes comes to my mind! LOL!!) where a prop strike is inevitable they work pretty well.

As long as computer equipment is being salvaged for RC use - remember almost ALL "X" mount or motor screws of all kinds are 3mm. The fine thread screws holding most HD. CD-Rom, DVD, or floppy drives in place in a computer use 3mm fine thread screws. So don't throw them away. They fit!! LOL!!
