Default Eflite Pt 19 450-which motor, servos, esc from Hobby King

Hey guys,

This will be my first electric airplane (flying nitro for a few years now).
I would like to get PT19 450 and I'm wondering what would be best servo, motor, esc from Hobby King?

thanks

Not sure about Hobby King, but what I used from Heads Up Rc was
Motor :Power 480

ESC: Power Up 40 a

Servos: not sure, either Hitec HS-55 or HS -65, I think either would fit

I started out with the 450 motor, it had enough power, but was going to need some weight in the nose to get the balance correct, so I opted for a bigger motor instead of dead weight. The web pages I sited above from Jeff should give you enough info pick out equivelents from the HK web site

I am using the Turnigy 2217-16 turn 1050 Kv outrunner and 25 amp ESC.
It spins a TGS 11 x 5.5 prop. Battery is a 3 Cell 20C Turnigy 2200 Ma/H. This combo draws approx 22 amps and I get approx 10 minutes air time.
There is plenty of power for good sized loops etc.
The Turnigy 2217 is almost the same weight and dimensions of the E-Flight Park 450 motor.
Correct C of G can be obtained by moving the battery back or forwards to your liking.
I have had my E-Flight PT-19 for around 20 months now.
I was happy enough with this power plant package to use the identical combination in my E-Flight Taylorcraft.
Have fun.
