Default Question MT Yak 55 44 inch

I was just wondering if anyone has a Hobbycity MT Yak 55 44in plane. I would like to know what setup you are using and the quality of the ARF was.
Thanks

nice looking plane, I'd Recommend Reinforcing the elevator with a 3mm CF rod diagonally from mid-bottom of fuse to mid elevator, to prevent breakage, for a recommended setup I'd go with this...

turnigy sk series 35x36x910

JXF 12x6 Prop

its the same setup I'm using on my Eflite Mini-Funtana and its got plenty of power for 3d... and gets good flight times... good weight... all around great setup...

also I've tested the 1100kv on a 10x8 prop 3cell 2200mah makes it a rocket, but makes it harder to fly too.... So I wouldn't recommend it...

ohh... nice tip I learned from putting togeather a 3dhobbyshop.com velox... drip gorilla glue/sumo glue in landing gear mount area, cover area, as it expands it makes the area super strong...
