Default pusher prop

Can I use a standard prop by turning it around for a pusher plane?

Yes....but you don't turn it 'backwards'. Props FACE the direction they are going.
Tractor > faces forward pulling
Pusher > faces forward pushing.

So called 'pusher props' would be better called 'reverse rotation' props primarily useful for multi-engine planes to use to run opposite directions to reduce prop torque. They still face the direction of travel just turn the opposite way.

Yep, for brushless electric there really is no need to use pusher props. You just reverse the direction of rotation of the motor and mount the prop exactly the same way as usual (i.e. the 'front' of the blade still points forward).

Pushers are required for i.c. engines that will only run properly in one direction.
