It is of course ideal if you can arrange that the complete motor/battery/RC package simply replaces the existing nose weight but I fear you will find that not easy to do but it does depend on the motor performance you require. It is quite likely you will end up with hopefully only a modest weight increase even if you arrange the components to achieve the required CofG. The best solution is to enable the battery to be 'movable' for fine adjustment so no significant ballast has to be added to achieve normal flight.

It is exactly what I think Quorneng; the long and wide cockpit would help a lot to do that.
