I try to keep mine as clean as I can. During a build I end up with stuff everywhere and end up losing or breaking stuff.
I caught the cord on my favorite covering iron and yanked it off the bench. busted it beyond repair... That is the stuff I try to avoid by keeping things put away where they belong.

This shop is the reason I bought this house. This shop is also the reason I could not get the sellers to some off their asking price since I was drooling the whole time we were looking at it.
Been here 5 1/2 years now and I love it more than I did when we bought the place.

In the early 90's I built a 24' x 26' garage in my backyard with a G- door to the alley. I first sheeted it with 1/2 cdx ply then put 7/16 OSB siding on top of that with no window on first floor, it had a 12' x 26' room upstairs for hobbies and my construction companies office.
When we put the house up for sale the first couple grabbed it, guess I should have asked for more money.
The guy had a $30,000 custom Harley Davidson, so he wanted the garage that no one could see into.
The lady fell in love with the custom kitchen I had built in the house.
It was on the market about 24 hours.

mine is roughly 12m x 12m . I never dreamed I'd have a shop this big but is sure is nice. We even cleaned it out to have my son's wedding reception in it. We had 68 people in there!
