Is my FrSky DFT module dead?

I have a FrSky DFT module that has worked flawlessly in the past. It's only a year old. However, the other night I tried to bind and I got no beep or led light on the module. Is the module dead, or is there a solution? I fully charged the battery in the Tx but that didn't help. I couldn't find anything loose or corroded in the module or the Tx, which is a Hitec Prism 7, I took the module out and I looked at the module pins in the Tx module bay, and I'm getting a good 11.7v - 12v from the Lipo that is in there. In the DFT module I have continuity through the bind button when I push it. I have continuity through the 1 and 2 switches when they are set to on. Setting is 2 on and 1 off according to the manual and I have that correct. Nothing seems loose and there is no corrosion at all. Don't know what else I could check without a circuit diagram..... which I am unable to find, of course. As I said, it worked great previously but it seems to have perished along the line while sitting in the Tx. Strange......
