Oh and if anyone does come this way on vacation just give me a shout.
Would love to have you stop by the club for a bit. Guests are welcome, just need to be an AMA member to fly. (Required by the county rules as we are on their property.)

Great fly in today. Quite a few members came out and we had some GREAT flying weather. Mid 50's and no wind at all! I even got to maiden that pretty new Corsair for a friend!

So I have been a member of SMAC for 7 months now... Now I am the Club President...
Quick rise to fame and fortune! They even told me they would double the salary of the previous President...

Too funny!
I have been wanting to do that at our field for years. Seems none of the club members want to kick in the $$ and help make the improvements. Boy can they complain about the field condition though.
We are all experts at making 3 point landings with our tail draggers.

We have started looking for a new location but land is at such a premium around here. We are likely stuck with What We have for now. It is on top of the old landfill so we cant dig, only add but it would take thousands to get enough dirt to even semi level it off.
I have a challenge for sure.
