Actually, Crash, that plane is for another Barnstormers member. He already plans to donate it to the club for our monthly rollover raffle prize. I'm hoping the thing brings in some good dough because I sure put enough effort into it...

Did the maiden this morning and had a little bad luck with the landing but no big deal. It will be ready to go again soon.

Default Sea Otter Build

Had to be working on something so i built this one.
Been too cold and windy for a maiden, but someday soon i hope.
Should be a good one for landing on the snow and ice.

Default Otto

Here is my latest build, a german plane called Otto.
Small plane 26inch wingspan and 24inch length.
Simular to a Foker D7
Will do the maiden as soon as wind is down enough.

Just waiting for a calm morning to do the maiden flight now.
This time of year it might take awhile.

Amazing cool airplanes gentlemen! Keep it going.

Our club is doing a McGuiver event next month and while I didn't plan anything for this year I am going to get involved next year...open to suggestions.

Man - seems like every plane I make is a McGuiver plane. This little guy, for instance

is made from
  • Dow Underlayment
  • Styrofoam packaging foam
  • Surgical tubing
  • Fiber-reinforced tape
  • Blister pack plastic
  • Pop bottle plastic
  • Bamboo barbecue skewers
  • Mint-flavored tooth flossers
  • Blenderm medical tape
  • Rubber bands
  • Sewing pins and t-pins
  • Balsa scrap
  • A metal washer
  • Cancer awareness ribbon
  • Vending machine rubber ducky
  • Thin plywood
  • Music wire
  • Salvaged wheels (Tower Hobbies P-51 and AirHogs F15)

You just have to love 'em !!

I made a Cartoon FW190 ... but oversized fuselage ... undersized wing ... it flew but boy did it bite back !!

I will be back into Cartoon series again though ... once I get my Eagle flown.
