Default Help configuring Airtronics RDS8000 for electric flight

I am a total newbie. New to RC and new to electric flight so please excuse me if this is obvious.

I just got a Airtronics RDS8000 for use on a new Piper Cub trainer, I have been building for myself to learn the hobby. I am having a hard time figuring out how to hook-up the Airtronics 8CH 2.4GHz FHSS Receiver for use with electric flight. I have read the manual twice but the instructions provided are completely for gas engines; it never mentions electric motors or ESCs.

I attached a screen-shot of the page which explains the channels and what they should be used for.

Can someone tell me how should I hook up my ESC, motor, and battery?
What channels should I use?
