how can i reset default settings on Eflite 60amp esc??

I noticed the esc switch just stopped working all of a sudden meaning before i would connect my battery and the motor would beep once, then i would turn on the switch and my rx and servos ,motor and servos would have power. I must have went into programming mode trying to set the throttle range and screwed it all up. Anyone know how to reset to default settings? The manual isnt showing how to reset the esc. It even arms and beeps 6 times lile if it were a 6 cell pack and its not , im using 4 s packs?? Help

You have to go through the beep code programming.

Its questionable if any other brand ESC programming card would work. I've found some cross-compatibility with others but never tried the E-flite ESCs.
Trying the wrong card can make things interesting to get back to working right, but I've never had it damage an ESC.

Each step says what the default is for that part.

There is no simple solution. You have to do each one manually.

I look for ESCs with programming cards or computer interface programming because the beep code programming is just so easy to mess up.

E-Flite had a programming interface for a while but its discontinued. I expect that they got tired of chasing Windows upgrades and trying to make the software work again.

Castle has a new programming card that is also a computer interface which in addition to programming the LVC, timing, brake, etc... will also let you update their ESC firmware for ESCs with that ability (which includes every Castle ESC I know of)

Sometimes you get lucky and one brand programmer works with another brand ESC. Turnigy's card works with the new Dynam/Detrum ESCs.
I don't know which if any would work with the E-Flite. The only way to find out is to test and if its wrong the main risk is a very strange programming result. The cards essentially send beep code responses to the ESC. There is a chance of the programming being off enough to cause the ESC to burn up when you try to run a motor though.
