i'm a cp man myself. most complicated, most versatile, most difficult to fly, most rewarding. just one man's opinion.

My best luck has been with my HBFP so I went with that. I did have a successful 5 minute hover session with my Blade 400 tonight so I'm not averse to CCPM birds, just the repair costs. I've flown it 7 times now and today was the second time I brought it back in working order.

I plan on building a belt driven Franken-FeeP in the near future (have most of the parts now) but plan to continue learning on my B400.

I'm a T-rex guy myself but I really like the kind that doesn't crash.

For hacking around, don't give a sh## fun flying I like my FP LMH Rotorooter. But for precision flying I like the Hurricane 200

I voted CP as thatís what Iím into now. I have a Belt CP that I got almost two months ago. Now that the wind is calm in the evenings around here Iíve been working on forward flight, but keeping the tail in and making the turn in front of me to go the other direction. I know I should be making the turn when Iím out and bring it back nose in. My confidence level is not that good yet even though I can fly circuits all day long on the simulator. I also still like my Lama V4 for indoor flying. My 12 year old son is getting pretty good with the Lama. My wife is afraid that Iím creating another heli monster.

Started out with a colco thunderbird then a walkera#4 FP. learnt to hover on them then went to MCCPM and ECCPM heads and never looked back.
I still fly my FP choppers evernow and then inside, when I want to scatter my wifes pesky cats in to the basement.

Gazaur Mars 480 with Scorpion HK2221-6.

It flies like a maniac and is incredibly precise.

T-Rex 450SA is my primary flyer at the moment, only because it is less expensive to fix than my 450SE and upgraded 450XL with Carbon fiber frame, aluminum head and tail, carbon fiber boom, 430L motor and HS-65MG servos! Then there is the Honey Bee King 2 brushless whenever I get a new aluminum swashplate!

My favorite heli right now is my T-Rex 500cf. I just wish I had a few more lipos for it. I still like flying my T-Rex 450se V2, but the 500 is much more stable and handles the wind better.

I am currently saving for a T-Rex 600 and about 1/2 way there. Once I get that, I am sure it will quickly become my favorite.

I really enjoy flying my Lama V4 around in the house. I have to walk around and shut off all of the fans first, then I can fly all over. I've got a Blade CP too, but I haven't got good enough to really enjoy it yet, still kind of in the "Just happy it came home in the same amount of pieces it left in" stage.
