Default LongEZ ParkJet

This is the RCPowers Long-EZ

Spent the weekend building my LongEZ, with a few alterations to the original design. I added a carbon strip to the wings leading edge to add some strength after a spray can fell on the wing during painting and snapped it off and a threaded clevis on the canard control rod to give me more adjustment.
I gave up trying to sort the transmittter settings out, just can't get the Canard to move up and down. Im using this Tx which has all the same features and programming as the Futaba 6EXHP, so if anyone has any ideas please let me know.
The maiden flight was last night, in slightly windy conditions. On the first launch it went vertical and I had to cut the throttle before she gained too much height. It hit the deck and the nose and one of the canards took a knock, nothing a little tape and UHU por wont sort out. I reduced the angles on both surfaces and my friend threw it up again, although a little wobbly on launch a little more power brought it under control. After that it just needed a few clicks of right trim to get her level. A nice flared landing finished it off perfectly.

A2208/8 20A 2600KV Outrunner Brushless motor
APC 6x4 prop / 3.17mm Prop Saver
SP 30A ESC Speed controller
6g DYS0204 Micro Servo x2
E-Power 12g Metal Geared Micro Servo
LM Loong Max 1000mAh 3S1P 20C-30C Lipo Pack
2.4g GC Receiver

Finished weight -11oz.

I didn't get any photos before the maiden flight so she's looking less than perfect now, but it flies and that's all that matters !

Default CG Location?

The RCPowers plans are confusing on CG for the LongEZ. Where is yours?
