Default Growing up with SEFF

I got to looking at some old pics and just realized that my boy has basically grown up with the anticipation of SEFF. I wish I would have had something like this growing up to share with my Dad.

We have had some truly wonderful times from our first trip to the Hodges Hobbies inaugural Electric fly in back in September of '06 until now. And the good times just keep rolling in.

Here is a pic from each SEFF, my how he has grown.

Bill count your blessing Mason has taken such a shine to the hobby, you two will always have a combined interest that you can share. My son and I have hunting and fishing, now he's almost 18 still likes to do these things with me just not as much he's got the girls on his mind thing going now.

You two have lots of fun at SEFF that goes for all of you going.

Bill, that's a great way to have "quality time" with Mason.
Don't let him fly the full sized ones too much, a career in aviation will be very expensive now.

I bet it is Paul, he still is striving to go to either the AF or Naval Academy so let's hope he keeps that ambition!

I vote the Naval Academy! Of course it could have something to do with me being a retired Navy Chief Petty Oficer.

Bill, (and Mason)
Go Navy (its close to Yorktown) and Navy Pilots are the best!! Went USNA back in the late 60's. Dont regret it one bit. Brother in law graduated in 94, flew super Hornets off of the Stennis and is now a test pilot for Pilatus in Switzerland....tough duty...lol.
Mason is a very lucky young man
Have Fun Mason and Bill

Bill,
Mason is a great kid and I about fell on the floor seeing how much he has grown in one of the videos. I missed you all last year and my what a difference two years makes. It's crazy. You two have done a fabulous job raising him and I know your proud as you have every right to be.

I look forward to seeing y'all this Sat. The only thing that will keep me from making the drive is if the weather doesn't hold out. Long drive to not fly and not be able to enjoy the festivities.
