Default Balance Ceiling Fan Blades

OK this has nothing to do with plane props, but just thinking outside the box. I have a ceiling fan and the blades are way out of balance and riving me crazy. Being an RC Pilot and Golfer I quickly balanced the blades in 5-minutes just like you would use a prop balancer, and lead tape used on golf clubs.

Take the fan down, clamp it in a vice so the blades are vertical like a prop and balance just like you would a prop. It is actually even easier than a prop because there is no hub to worry about, and not near as critical. Took me 5 minutes and now the fan runs smooth as silk at all speeds.
