Well, I just voted and I'd like to congratulate everyone! Anytime you can create a flying machine you are a winner! I also learned something new in all of the threads, so great job by all.
Thanks to Wonder Woman for starting this up! Chellie you Rock!

I must have missed the last details since I was expecting to see who won and their RC model airplane. I was also hoping to see a video of it flying about with a few comments, or build details. Is there another link I need to know about?
I am also wondering why my avatar won't post? Maybe i did something wrong, but it shows fine on the upload page.

There are separate threads for each entry. Look at the very first entry on this thread to see the links to the individual build threads. There you will find lots of pictures and some videos...
Then, there are two additional voting threads so all Wattflyers can vote for their favorites. Those are "Stickies" at the top of the Scratch/Kit Builders Forum.

It appears I got the avatar picture file small enough and it is posting fine. OK, reviewed the builds and cast my vote. Lots of nice builds. Maybe I can get serious and have one entered the next go around. Not sure my construction and pilot skills can match some of the masters among us, but what the heck.

I don't see why a bashed Titan glider would not qualify. The couple that I built were as difficult as any 100% scratchjob. It's almost a handicap working around the limitation of that fuse. Lot's of slicing and dicing.

I was thinking the same thing; a Titan toy glider RC build might qualify as a contestant entry. What I am doing is scratch building since none of the Titan original foam is incorporated into the copy/clone. I use the fuselage, or wing of the original foam glider toy as a "build-over" plug. I also recycle foam drink cups to make the copies. A very simple process that allows a lot of slightly larger copies to be made, or you can put more work into the project, and make the copy the same size. I tend to go for quicker and larger so I can build as much as I need for an idea or two. The process often results in something that no longer hints at a foundation of a Titan glider toy.
From time to time I do an internet search for ideas as a jumping off point for my own creations. I am also a big fan of an old computer game called Crimson Skies by MS. I have since discovered other genre like Dieselpunk and related spins on the sky pirate theme. The art about airplanes provides a lot of fuel for thought and schemes if one likes to make models of fantasy aircraft that fit within the 1930's through 1960's designs. I also like designs up to the far future and cartoons and airplane/pilot themed movies that come out of Japan and other countries. Of course there is no end to what is possible, but we are all limited to a life time.

Some great models for sure, and I still say all of us won by what was shown and learned. Needless to say, I expect a lot of winners from the newest contest with a limit of $75 and a very wide number of choices that qualify as a contestant entry.
