OK Boys and Girls lets see your tats.

I only have one. My daughter said I didn't have the guts to get one. So after years of saying someday I said OK lets go. You should have seen the look on her face. After looking at a lot of pictures I saw it. She said that is the one. Four hours later I was unique.

A little about myself. I ride Harleys and I was a Firefighter for eleven years.

So here is mine.

I can't believe nobody flying RC has any tattoos that they want to show off. I guess I'm just unique. Or nuts. Maybe both.

My wife has my only tattoo and I can't show it here.

It is a yellow rubber ducky with a orange bill.

I am going to get my first one this winter. I want a rose with a stem and three petal. In each petal I want the names of my three children.

This morning, the kids I work with swore I had a tat and they had seen it when I was wearing a short sleeve shirt last year. They lost $10 when i showed them both arms and no tats.... Of course I didn't collect the $10....

I guess they thought it because of the bike thing...

Rabbit, I don't even want to know how she removed your "little bitty birdie with the orange bill". I'm wincing here in NY.

Actually it is my tattoo but it is on her. At least I claim it.

You sure it wasn't one of those temporary tats just to make some money?

A friend I work with has all kinds of tats every where. After I got mine we were talking about tattoos and I said I wonder how long this will stay. He looked at me and said you know thats permanent. I said O My God are you sure and started rubbing my arm. He looked at me like you dumb ass. Priceless

I think paying $30,000.00 for a car is stupid.

I'm not a fan of tats and generally sick of the same old crappy ones but that's pretty interesting. Nicely done too.

Talking My Tat

Although I have no idea what this has to do with flying... Dragons fly.

Not my actual Tat but it is what I had done back in the 80's while I was in the military.

I just had the dragon part done on my shoulder with out the lettering. It's due for a touch-up.

The artwork is from Roger Dean. He did stuff for Yes & Uriah Heap back in the 70's & 80's.

Thanks park and giga for posting in my thread. Even though I didn't ask for your opinion on tats I'm glad that you felt the need to say something. I have found that it's best to say something nice or don't say anything at all. I'm sure your mother told you that growing up or maybe she should have. I'm sure there are many things that you do or have that I would not like but I would never be so rude as to express that opinion in your thread. But you know what it's still a free country and a open forum so thanks again for posting and have a nice day. Tats aren't for everyone......just the nice people

OK, sure why not. Here's the 2 I've had done in the last 2 yrs. Both I drew myself and had the artist render the final.

First is the series of shaded infinity symbols blended with who only knows how many 0's and 1's. The artist needed many breaks. I think it was like 7-8 hrs. or so. I always have and always will be a computer geek, and I think it's fairly original.

The second is a modified Gemini. It will be touched-up and a red border added shortly.

I plan on 2-3 more, with careful consideration. It takes me a long time to come up with something I'm willing to commit to my body.

*rider really nice tats. Great design. You made my day also. I'm not the only RC geek that got tats. Thanks for posting.

Thats a long time to sit for a tat. Did you do it all at one sitting? Mine took about 4 hours. The time went pretty fast but still it was a long time.

Yup, did it all in one sitting. We took breaks tho and I went to the pub accross the way for lunch and a pint. It was probably 5-6 hours of ink time and a couple more for design.
