AR63T update/registration issue

AR63T update/registration issue
I got a used AR637T and when i connect with my Spektrum programmer cable this message appear: "There was a problem reading the device indentity"
I've read somewhere it must be update via the forward programming on a tx but that doesn't work either.
Is it broken or can i some how register it as my new receiver?
