This show depicts famous air combat battles during different engagments/conflicts. This weeks show featured the dogfight that granted James Jabara the first Jet Ace. He was flying his F-86 Sabre against the Mig 15.

I was hoping it would have been more combat oriented. Instead it was a comparision of each aircraft with a 10 min combat session (Mainly CGI and random shots of a F-86 and Mig 15 flying.) On top of that, this big headed F-22 pilot compared everything to himself and the F-22 (Yawn)

I was extremely disappointed by this show. I have cancelled my scheduled DVR recordings and will watch better aircarft shows.

My son and I were also looking forward to the series. Big letdown. I liked the re-run of "Dogfights: Last of the Gunfighters" a whole lot better. It came on the History Channel last night at 8:00. Love those F8's.
