Default Great site..great pilots.

I have been following WATTFLYER for a while now and really enjoy the information everyone puts out on here. Nice to see that new pilots can get straight answers without the " I have more stick time than you". The members have fantastic questions, great stories and unbelievable aircraft.
I have a GWS TM that just entertains me everytime I fly her. Wish some old friends of mine were still around to see the advances made in modeling. GREAT site !!!

TM, thanks for the kind words. I say it often, and it may sound corny, but I believe this is THE friendliest RC flying site available.

Welcome to WATTFLYER. We are what we are because of our members.

Iam in Northern Va. Burke, VA. Outside the beltway. I do most of my flying in Delaware. Slope off the dunes at Henlopen Beach and pretty much fly the TM where ever I can find a runway to takeoff from, I have to see the Moth roll off of the ground, never had anyone hand launch me when I fly the real ones.

Cool, There is an Electric fly in this weekend over in Loudon County at the LCAA field.

We are debating whether to go up or not. I've been before and had a very good time

You are very welcome.

I host our clubs Electric fly the last week of September also. We are making it a 2 day event this year as it has grown every year since its inception. This will be our 4th year and we are having a night flying event on the Saturday night of our event.

http://newportnewsrc.org/

We call our event EOT which stands for "Electrics over Tidewater"
