Default Internet Radio

My buddy found this great "free" Internet radio that I thought I'd let everyone know about....

you create a station, based on an artist, then it plays that artist and finds similar stuff and plays it all...

you can create a "quickmix" and setup a couple artists, and then it will pay all of them....

this is the best idea I've come across in quite awhile for internet radio.... so check it out...

I use pandora all the time. It's great. I also keep the XM Station on my computer when I'm away from my stereo in the workshop or the car.

Not Bad. I'm listening to Guns N Roses as I post this. I put a shortcut on my desktop.

Pandora rocks . Take the time to rate the songs and add variety to stations and it will come up with the best play list. It's about all I listen to anymore.

I've discovered some new blues guitarists and new bands through Pandora. It's basically advertising but the service it provides is well worth it. 99 cents to download songs these days isn't bad at all. I don't mind paying the artists a buck for a song

iTunes has a thing called Genius. There is also Nutsie, that works with iTunes as well. Some people love it. I find it annoying. Duff McKagen from G&R is their spokesperson and shareholder

I have an iPhone so I use iTunes to manage all my music but I still listen to Pandora more than anything else.

I love Pandora Radio. Make sure you rate the songs too! Giving a song a Thumbs Up rating will actually do more than saying you don't like a song. WHen you dislike a song it only stops that song from playing. (Or optionally you can force an artist to not be played on your "station").

there is this website called
thats a pretty good site too.
you dont have to pay anything for it.
you search music that you want and you can make playlists.
they hold more than 100 songs.
my one playlist is up to 116.
and you can post them on myspace or facebook or any of those other sites.
you guys should check it out.
