SEFF 2018 few photos

Had a great time at SEFF 2018 flying and building a EPP Norman so I didn't get a chance to take a lot of photos. Work interfered with my plan to leave middle Tennessee early Thursday morning and I ended up leaving late Thursday afternoon from Memphis which added an extra hour of driving time so I missed the LMR contest and called it a night by the time I got to Americus. Didn't miss too much Thursday afternoon and evening because their weather was bad, lots of rain and wind.
Part of the field was flooded when I got there early Friday morning. Phil was doing his traditional dawn patrol so I grabbed a cup of coffee to watch hm fly. Then to my surprise Fred (Flying Monkey) walked up. It's been several years since I've seen him and it was great to see he made the trip up from Florida.

Talked to Fred and Phil for a while and noticed the guys from Team Cobra Sssssssssssstttt were waking up and folk up and down the flight line were starting to fly.

Laine from Laine's Planes had released his EPP Norman so I went over to his vendor booth to pick one up and started working on it in his neat and organized trailer.

In case you're wondering here's a Normation looks like.

I had a great time, even though Don tried to run through my leg with a prop in the noon demos! I sure am glad I had on long denim pants to take out some of the prop bite!
All's well that ends well as no major injuries were incurred! lol
