A couple of days ago I won a E-Flight Futana 300 from a guy on e-bay that has an inpecable feedback.. 100%.. He has nothing but good comments on his feed back..
So, I won it with 20 dollars plus 10 for shipping.. there were 15 bids on it amongst 3 people including me..
So, I win this thing and I imediately pay using paypal.. Payment went through and He ascepted it and e-bay tracking says it in route.. It shows that I have payed and He received payment..
Today I was tracking the progress and This same guy has another futana 300 posted for sale. he is using the same picture and exactly the same wording.. There's 2 guys bidding.. the same 2 guys that were bidding against me 2 days ago..
What the hell is going on I messaged Him.. Is it not my foamie you are reselling, when you have clearly received payment from me?
2 days to go on this sale and I hope he's not trying to ruin his reputation on e-bay..

I know it's easy for me to say, but folks that sell on ebay do this all the time. You shouldn't have any worries. Ebay makes it very easy with just a few clicks to re-post the same sales ad. It's much harder to re-word and re-submit new photos. It's much simpler to run the same auction again.
The seller probably bought a lot of these planes and are selling them one by one.

Thanx for making me feel better brother... but what gets me worried is that, He Posted the same picture and it also explains the same thing, that it has a small crack that's easily repairable on the vertical stabilizer..
It sounds as if He is reselling the same item.. not another new one.. it has that same crack..

As an ebay seller with over 5000 sales, re-listing an ad is the only way I could sell lots without tossing hundreds of hours away doing the same thing over and over. Yeah, a specific description as you outline is suspect, but dont assume this guy is wanting to toss his 100% feedback easily, nor that you are 'worth it' (dont take it personally that his collective feedback is more important than your specific sale).
Let the deal run its course. You have all the protection you need and more if he does choose to toss in the towel on a perfect record which on all points seems unlikely.

I know how you feel Bud. I recently bought a JR XP9303 from a guy on rcg, everything went fine until they day I figured it should have arrived, 2 days later still no radio... did a bit more research and saw where he had sold the exact same radio over on RC Universe and the guy who bought it already had it delivered.
I had this sinking feeling that I got scammed. Fortunatley it all worked out and I got the radio. Turns out he did in fact have two he was selling and he had put the wrong zip code on my box and it ended up in South Carolina. I got it a couple days later and all was right with the world.
I wouldn't get too worried. You'll get your plane.
... and Happy Birthday!

Even worse, was a guy that I gave a speed control to for free. He gave me the wrong address.
