Nice video stinkweed

you know i got this nice 8mgp camera that has like 1000somex some resolution for video but the quality still sucks not clear like urs cuz when i convert my video(unfortunately records on .mov format) to .avi it takes out alot and i mean ALOT of detail, of course the size goes down alot too lol, but still i use windows movie maker and cant edit my .mov files gotta convert to .avi i dont really know how to shopp for cameras, im looking at FPV though that would be awesome...

learned a "video quality trick" when uploading to Vimeo.. for a minute there, I was not getting better quality than YouTube.. yesterday when I made that video, I saved in the Xvid codec at 640-480. Sure, the video was 167Mb big at the end of the export.. and the upload to Vimeo took about an hour.. but I finally got some decent vid up..

Ace... .mov is a verrry good quality recording format, the only problem is the editing of mov files.. not alot of programs handle that format. however many do. I would suggest if you want to keep your quality, just put a few bucks into an editor. I use Magix Video 10 or Magix Music Maker 2005 for my stuff and it handles mov files. (easy to use too) but I feel your conversion pain.. Ive had to do that with asf files in some cases.

Yeah well on youtube some guy's giving out free magix softwares like the 14th one, but you gotta compete against many people that make videos to get his attention.

I tried to go on Saturday. I am officially out of Lipos at the moment. I got an order in now.

(Tip: make sure you unplug your lipo from your ESC after your last flight...not 2 weeks later..... - bad things happen)

I agree! How cools was that landing!! Awesome indeed and great idea.

Frank

PS I'm surprised Fred hasn't done something like this already. That's right up his alley.
