I don't know if I am qualified to comment but I would suggest getting a charger that can charge multiple types of batteries - lipo, nimh, etc. Allow yourself to grow into the charger rather than having to get a new charger every 3 months........just my two cents!
This hobby is great and lots of fun.......lots to learn........it is really great.

Without a doubt, the Cellpro 4s.

It's under $50, but somethings are not worth skimping the pennies on.

Edit: Oops. I just noticed you said Ni-Mhs.
For Ni-MHs, I have had great luck with this one: http://www.stevensaero.com/GWS-Ni-Cd...2-p-16429.html
BUT, if you could squeeze out a few more dollars, this one does it all.

That's good advice Rodney. I went through the same thing. Bought a Ni-MH charger, then had to buy another that charger shortly after.

That one will work but I'm with Frank on this one, the FMA Multi 4 is king mack daddy in that price range and capabilities. For a few bucks more you will have a charger that will last you a really long time and grow with you as you grow more in the hobby.
I have 2, the 4s and the 10s and without a doubt they are the best chargers I own, have owned, or probably will own.

Their advice is solid. You'll in all likelihood go lipo after awhile.
Here's one off the group that is better and does both. Hobbico MkII
http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=985782
It does NOT balance lipos. You can get an aftermarket device to do that or upgrade later. The Hobbico is an item that will re-sell, the one you have likely will not be worth much.

I would just like to offer some general advice, but I will back up a bit. I was wondering why someone on wattflyer would be looking for a NIMH only battery charger so I looked at some of your other posts and realized you are new to the hobby. So my first bit of bad advice about this hobby is, if you want to save money don't start buying. MY second bit of advice is, if you going to join this wonderful hobby save money the hard way. Then spend the money wisely on good RC stuff.
So if you want a good charger spend 60- 90 and get a good charger that will charge NiCd, NiMH, LiPo and maybe even lead acid batteries. like the one below
http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXKSY1&P=7
If you try to save money on a cheaper charger now then in two months when you need a lipo charger well now you've wasted $30 on a nimh only charger. If you never plan on buying another plane and that is all you need then the one you linked should be just fine.

I just found this by accident. It looks like it might be right in your price range and I have heard that this company makes good products.

The manual however, sucks

For $14 more dollars you will get a charger that will grow with your hobby needs. If you only want to get a charger for NiMHs, why spend $65 for that?
But, I can almost guarantee that you'll be stepping up to LiPos soon and you'll be wishing you had a LiPo capable charger.

No one suggested that charger. Hundreds of people have tried others, sorted through the mess and suggested some that have risen to the top.
You ask for a suggestion and then find something completely different and decide to go down that path. How did you come to that conclusion?
I'm not saying it's not a good charger. But, I've been reading in these forums for 2 years and spent 6 MONTHS studying lipos and chargers and that one NEVER popped up.
